jaso’s “forcefield” is a gritty, psychedelic trip that leaves us eager for more

From SoundCloud flips to full length projects, jaso has been developing his sound since 2017. Somewhere between Slauson Malone and King Krule, his latest project is an unfiltered expression he best describes himself as “depression fusing with hope and electricity fusing with nature”.

Of the sixteen songs, the seventh track, “forcefield”, jumps out. A gritty, psychedelic trip, “forcefield” feels just as hopeful as it does sombre, capitulating the warm hug of despair and the beauty within it.

jaso’s strong creative integrity is a sure-fire sign of his future as an artist and we look forward to hearing where he takes us next.
