Brisbane-based artist Yb. caught our attention this year with an impressive array of singles, and today, we’re excited to feature the title track off of his debut EP, Blackphemy — a comforting, subtle exploration of the dull landscape life paints when we miss someone.  

Coupling a soft, brooding vocal with skillful writing, Yb.’s crafted a song with intention and gentleness that is ever-present throughout. “Blackphemy” carries a sense of direction and variety while staying true to its sonic identity, a characteristic indicating a level of talent that’s impossible to ignore.

This is one we’ve had on repeat for awhile, and don’t expect that to change anytime soon.
